Generally triangular or rectangular shaped gaskets machined from solid metal for uses involving high temperatures and pressures and where operating conditions demand a special joint design. Typical applications pressure vessels, piping systems, high-pressure oil field drilling and production equipment.
Made for API-type ring joint flanges. Cross section matches standard and special grooves for uses confined mainly to oil and petroleum industries and LOX service. Basic shapes are used at pressures to 10,000 psi. Standardized and made-to-order dimensions. Close tolerances in matching rings with flange grooves are meticulously maintained.
Triangular-shaped gasket inserted into triangular groove. Pressure range, 5,000 psi and higher. Groove and gasket dimensions must be machined and precise to accept this type gasket. (Drawing should accompany order)
Pressure-actuated gasket for application as valve bonnet and pressure head gasket. For pressures of 1500 psi and above. #354 also adapts to piping joints which are exposed to extreme conditions of shock and temperature.
Diaphragms are used for control units to sense flow of fluid. Manufactured to customer's design.
